Terms of use

ndt.games is published by NDT LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. The games

• The daily game and the four classic games (word of the day, word search, crossword, term match) are free to play, with or without an account.
• The games are study aids and entertainment. Their content is written in plain English by NDT LLC with the help of automated tools and checked against technical references, but it is not text from any standard, code or specification, and it is not a substitute for your employer's written practice, your procedure or the current edition of your governing document. Don't rely on anything here for certification, qualification or acceptance decisions.
• Standards and certification schemes named on the site belong to their publishers. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any standards body, certification body or publisher.

2. Accounts

• An account needs only an email address; you sign in with a code we email you. Keep access to that mailbox to yourself — whoever can read it can sign in.
• You may choose a name for the leaderboard. It must not be offensive, impersonate anyone, or contain an email address or a link. We may hide a name or a result from the leaderboard, with or without notice, if it breaks these terms or looks like cheating.
• You can close your account at any time by emailing us from its address. We then delete it as the Privacy Policy describes, except purchase records we must keep for tax and accounting.

3. Tokens

• Tokens are an optional way to unlock more play: an earlier day's game (permanently, for your account), a bonus round, or a ranked replay of today's game. One token unlocks one of those. The daily game and the classics never need a token.
• Tokens are sold by NDT LLC through Stripe, at the prices shown on the Tokens page when you buy. Prices are in US dollars and include any tax we are required to collect unless the checkout page says otherwise.
• Tokens are a limited license to unlock content on ndt.games. They have no cash value, are not property, cannot be transferred to another account, and cannot be exchanged for money, goods, prizes or anything else outside ndt.games.
• Tokens don't expire while ndt.games operates. If we ever shut the site down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice on the site and by email to accounts holding unspent purchased tokens, and refund unspent purchased tokens bought in the 12 months before the notice.
• Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
• No gambling, no chance. A token always buys the specific thing described before you spend it. There are no random rewards, loot boxes, wagers, prizes or sweepstakes on ndt.games, and leaderboard places win nothing.

4. Fair play

Don't use bots, scripts or other automation to play, to submit results, or to get on the leaderboard; don't probe or overload the site; and don't try to read answers the site doesn't show you. We may remove results, hide players or close accounts that do.

5. What we may change

We may change the games, the scoring, what a token unlocks (never retroactively for an unlock you already made), or these terms. We'll post changes here with a new date; material changes to token terms will also be emailed to accounts holding unspent purchased tokens.

6. No warranty; limits on liability

The site is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, NDT LLC disclaims all warranties, and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from relying on game content in real inspection work. Our total liability for anything to do with the site is limited to what you paid us for tokens in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
